Granted

I've been getting reading a lot of books lately.. And each book has taught me a different lesson, but in each book one lesson remains the same and I want to share that to you.

Time is something we should never take for granted. Whether we are young, immature, old, married or single, healthy or sick. Time is something we use to measure moments of happiness or sadness.. We use time to look forward, and also to look at our pasts.

Where am I going with this? Don't take time for granted. Whether it's time you've got left during class-there are kids around the world who would probably give you the clothes on their back for an opportunity to learn. Don't worry what time you get off work, be thankful you're employed.

Time heals all wounds? It does if you give it the chance.. Don't worry about who broke your heart because it doesn't matter. In time, the person you're meant to be with will come to you, when you're ready for them.

During this time Dustin (husband) has been training for the military, I've learned to appreciate the 10 or so minute phone calls. The texts and the letters or cards. I've learned that not only does distance make the heart grow fonder, but that all obstacles we have gone through only take time and every second is worth it.

Don't take your time here on Earth for granted. There's a purpose for you whether you know it or not. You may not realize it but you may be touching someone's life just by saying hi or complimenting them. Realize that everything happens for a reason, and you just might be a reason in someone else's path in life and just dont know it..

A couple books I read were about running away from something you're afraid of.. I don't believe in fleeing from fear. I believe, even though easier said than done, that you should fight it. Whatever fear you're afraid of, show it who's boss...

The one book that I could probably read over and over: The Five People You Meet in Heaven.

If you need time or space to "navigate" as Jason Mraz says, take that book with you.

Remember that time is something that some of us don't have, some of us wish it would hurry up, slow down, or even all around stop. Stop wishing. Let time take it's time.

You might regret it later, or miss something important. Don't take it for granted..
